Therapeutic Chair Yoga

Wednesday 2p.m-3p.m.

A gentle seated class.

This class is based around the group of postures known as Pawanmuktasana.

These exercises open the joints, speed the removal of toxins, regulate metabolism and clear the energy pathways. They are suitable for people of all ages and abilities, from the young and fit to the less able and very old. 

The class always starts with some breathing exercises and finishes with a short meditation, relaxation.

This is a new class, the class is suitable for all abilities. The class is taught in a staged way so the student can take the Asana practice (posture) to their specific level. The class includes Pranayama and breathing techniques, Asana (postures), Vinyasa practice (flowing practice) , philosophy, meditation and or relaxation.

Some mats available.
